Kwame Brown Sucks

Chronicling Kwame Brown’s Crappy Career

Kwamebrownsucks Coverage

One thing I’ve enjoyed while reading blog posts and stories about Kwame Brown signing with the Pistons is how *this* blog has been mentioned many times:

(Image from Sarcoidosis and My So-Called Life)

Deadspin:

His latest move: He signed Kwame Brown. Yes, the infamous Kwame Brown. The question is: Why?

SimonOnSports:

Kwame Brown was drafted number 1 overall by the Washington Wizards in 2001 and was listed as ESPN’s #1 draft bust of all time. He even has a website aptly named KwameBrownSucks.com devoted to the fact that he sucks.

BulletsForever:

Savannah Morning News:

To this point, draft night has been the highlight of Brown’s professional career. The rest is often summed up in one word: Bust.

Wizards fans booed him out of the nation’s capital. One even started a Web site, kwamebrownsucks.com.

Any my absolute favorite:

The Big Lead:

Though he’s displayed flashes of athleticism, the former No. 1 pick straight outta high school never seemed to grasp the sport, always looked lost on the court, and a frustrated fan even started a negative blog about him (though it hasn’t been updated in 18 months).

Which had my absolute favorite comment:

started a negative blog about him (though it hasn’t been updated in 18 months).

Even blogs about Kwame are lazy and underacheive.

Welcome Detroit Pistons Fans

I know you are (were) the home of former Bullets/Wizards average players turned successes: Rasheed Wallace, Rip Hamilton, Ben Wallace …

But in Kwame Brown, you will experience what us Wizards and Lakers fans have enjoyed the past few years: a basketball player who epitomizes the word “Suck”.

I will post more “The Pisons signed Kwame Brown?? Really?? For more money than the minimum?? Really? Is it April Fools? Come on, $4 mil for Kwame? You’re joking right?” stories and links later.
