Good News / Bad News

Oh Kwame

Hey Kwame Brown, good news and bad news. The good news is that you’re no longer going to be booed by the home fans in LA!  Cool.

The bad news is that you’re going to be booed by your new home fans in Memphis.

The good news is that the Grizzlies don’t have a lot of fans, so there’s not that many people left to boo you!

The bad news is that you might be put back into a starting lineup, a new and wonderful opportunity for more failure.

J.A. Adande on Kwame Brown

Back to the future: Lakers might again be NBA’s brightest light

(Now, amazingly, both the Lakers and Washington Wizards can say they were better off for having Brown. Not better off with him, but Washington traded Brown for Caron Butler, and now the Lakers have Gasol. Brown netted All-Stars for two franchises. That’s a pretty good accomplishment for a No. 1 draft pick bust.)
